FAQs

Is Armoury Crate preinstalled?

Yes, Armoury Crate is a preinstalled app. You can find Armoury Crate in your Start menu – just click the 'Start' button.

How do I delete GHelper?

G-helper is a single exe, and it doesn't install anything in the system. To remove it - you can simply delete exe :) If you have applied any custom fan profiles or PPTs - before removing I would recommend selecting your favorite performance mode (for example balanced) and clicking "Factory defaults" under Fans + Power.

Do I need to uninstall Armoury Crate to use G Helper?

For G-Helper users, close Armoury Crate to avoid conflicts; if happy with G-Helper, uninstall Armoury Crate for a cleaner system.

What does GHelper do?

It's an app that lets you select one of the predefined operating modes created by manufacturer (and stored in BIOS) and optionally(!) set some settings that already exist on your device same as Armoury Crate can.

Does G Helper work on Rog Ally?

While G-Helper was designed for the ROG laptops more-so than the ROG Ally, it still works.
